Asian total betting still asks whether the combined number of goals finishes over or under a line. The difference appears when a quarter goal line is used. A 2.25 selection is effectively divided between 2.0 and 2.5, while 2.75 is divided between 2.5 and 3.0.

Now place SGD 100 on Under 2.25 at 1.65 and assume the match again ends with two goals. Half the stake sits on Under 2.0 and pushes, while the other half sits on Under 2.5 and wins.

The winning SGD 50 portion returns SGD 82.50 at 1.65, while the pushed SGD 50 is returned, giving SGD 132.50 in total.

In Asian total betting, a 2.75 quarter goal line divides the stake between 2.5 and 3.0. Over 2.75 is half Over 2.5 and half Over 3.0, while Under 2.75 is half Under 2.5 and half Under 3.0.

If exactly three goals are scored, Over 2.5 wins while Over 3.0 pushes. The Over selection therefore produces a winning half and a returned half. For Under 2.75, Under 2.5 loses while Under 3.0 pushes.

With a standard 2.5 total, two goals make Under a full winner and three goals make Over a full winner. A quarter goal line introduces another settlement around the neighbouring whole number because the stake is divided between two totals.

This does not make the market safer or more profitable. The price still matters, and a possible partial refund does not automatically create better value.

No match needs to produce 2.25 actual goals. The .25 notation describes how the wager is divided. Convert the line into two ordinary totals before calculating each possible result.

Asian over under prices still use the same decimal-odds calculation as other sportsbook markets. If a full SGD 100 selection at 1.80 wins, the total return is SGD 180. When the result divides the stake, calculate each SGD 50 portion separately and then add the returns together.
